I am selling my 2003 Alden 18 purchased brand new in March 2003. The
boat is in excellent like new condition and has only been rowed 5
times in a lagoon. This boat comes with two drop-in riggers and can be
easily rigged for a single rower or rigged for two rowers. The boat is
the most versatile open water rowing shell on the market. The boat is
incredibly stable, responsive, speedy yet forgiving. The large cockpit
has extra space for storage and touring. Deck color is "British Racing
Green" with a white hull. The construction is hand laid fiberglass,
12-14 mil. gel coat finish, fore and aft bulkheads with positive foam
flotation. There is an access port and storage bag, bow line for
temporary tie-ups, and a rub rail.

The hull is 18 ft long and weighs 68 lbs alone (86 lbs with one
rigging unit, 104 lbs with both rigging units). You can easily
transport the boat and rigging units separately - the rigging units
clamp on with clips (no hardware necessary), it's really that easy!

Includes: two Oarmaster II riggers, two sets of competition hatchet
oars, boat cover, and manual.

See the manufacturer's web site for more details --
http://www.rowalden.com/boats/boats.htm (click on the link for
recreational boats. The site is a little slow, please be patient.)

I paid over $4000 when I bought the boat and cover. I am asking $3000.

The boat is in Redwood City, California. I am looking for a local
buyer who can pick up and transport the boat themselves.

Please drop me an email if you would like more information.

Thanks!
