Hello
I was in London yesterday helping to service C2 Ergos and the customer
had C2-C machines but with PM1 monitors. The machines with PM1 monitors
were much less used as their batteries were mostly flat, and even with
working monitors the rowers seem to prefer the newer displays.
I have somehow got the idea that the PM1 and early PM2 monitors display
different splits for the same work to newer monitors. Did I dream this,
or could someone in the know confirm it? I'm pretty sure Paul S has
talked about this in the past, but I'm not sure where that information
is from. Concept 2 UK seem to think they all display the same data, but
I'm not sure whether this is the party line or they simply haven't ever
needed to know any different. Also, if there is a difference, is this
something admitted by C2 or verified in the past? Either way, I'm not
meaning to critisise C2, its simply so I have the definitive answer so I
can clear up this now and be authoritative in the future.
All responses would be most appreciated, the sooner I can confirm this
and get back to the customer the better.
Best wishes
Nick
